About Underdogs
Jaime Burge is the proud owner of Cape Cod Underdogs, founded January 2006 by Dana Medeiros. The idea for a Cape Cod pet waste removal service unofficially got its start when Dana was a youngster. Dana offered to clean up dog waste in his neighbor’s back yard at the end of each week which the neighbor gladly agreed to. Before long he was providing the same service at several houses in the neighborhood and continued to do so for the next few years. He later became a paramedic and firefighter for the town of Orleans. Jaime having a husband who was a Captain for the Town of Orleans assisted Dana in the beginnings of this company. Jaime helped with brainstorming, direct mailers, advertising suggestions, and later became a scooper in 2009.
Having already invested many hours with Dana in this company he offered to sell the company to Jaime. Jaime having a BS from Lasell College and an entrepreneurial background accepted the offer of buying the company and continue to grow the business with her Husband Chip, and two boys Reese and Christopher.
